Dr. Lisa
Brennan grew up in Moss Beach, just south of San Francisco. She attended
San Francisco State College. After graduation, she went to UCSF Dental
School and graduated in 1975. She served her pediatric dental residency
at UCLA and finished in 1977. She practiced pediatric dentistry in
Thousand Oaks until 1983, when she opened Oak Park Dentistry for Children
here in Oak Pak. Dr. Brennan is a member of California Dental
Association, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy
of Pediatric Dentistry and the Santa Barbara-Ventura Dental Society. She
presently serves on the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry
Foundation. She is on staff at Los Robles Medical Center Hospital and is
a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Karen Sue, D.D.S. Dr. Karen Sue, was raised in the South Bay area and graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1986. She completed her pediatric dental residency at USC Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in 1988. Immediately following her residency she served on staff at CHLA Dental Clinic as part of their dental faculty and also became part of the Oak Park Dentistry family. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children, and California Society of Pediatric Dentists. She has served as a Board member and President of ASDC, Southern California Chapter. Dr. Sue has volunteered and served as a Board member for the Los Angeles Epilepsy Society.
Dr. Sue loves to travel with her wonderful husband,
Curtis. They honeymooned in the Hawaiian Islands and often return. Dr. Sue
always has stayed physically active. As a girl she was catcher on a
softball team and now stays fit with swimming, walking, bicycling and
hiking. As part of a closely-knit family, she loves to spend time with her
nieces and nephew. Dr. Sue has many hidden talents - she is a great bowler
and a great cook! Her incredible fried rice and Chinese chicken salad
always make a hit. Ask her for her recipes.
Dr. Linda Lott grew up in Chicago and remained in Illinois until she moved to California in 1968. Instead of returning to Illinois, she attended UCLA School of Dentistry where she became the first African American woman to graduate from the program in 1974. She has been practicing the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry for twenty-five years. Following dental school, Dr. Lott completed a year of postdoctoral residence study at the Charles R. Drew Postgraduate Medical School at the Martin Luther King County General Hospital of Los Angeles. She completed her second year of resident study at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston, receiving her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. She has been on teaching staff at both USC and UCLA and has served as an examiner for the State Dental Licensing Board of California.
Dr. Lott has three teenage children and in her free
time enjoys jazz, art, the outdoors, hiking and skiing. She loves to
travel and explore customs and cultures and has been to Africa several
times. She enjoys meeting a variety of people. Dr. Lott's beauty and grace
is a reflection of her practice and study of holistic medicine, healthy
eating and natural living. She has a very good command of the Spanish
language and loves to be active in the community. Dr. Lott is a sustaining
member of the Junior League of Los Angeles.
Dr. Jennifer Barry grew up in Thousand Oaks and has spent most of her life in the Conejo Valley. She graduated from La Reina High School and attended Santa Clara University, where she majored in Biology. Dr. Barry received her D.D.S. from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and also completed her residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at Loma Linda. She now serves as an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Dentistry at Loma Linda University. Dr. Barry is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Barry has exceptional dental knowledge and skill, but patients mostly know her for her gentle touch. When Dr. Barry is not practicing dentistry, she spends time with her husband, Ari, and her family and friends from the Thousand Oaks and Loma Linda areas. She enjoys the beach and visiting her family's cabin in Big Bear. Dr. Barry has been skiing since age 11 and took up snowboarding last year. She also enjoys traveling and recently returned from Guatemala where she attended her best friend's wedding. Dr. Barry takes photographs of her travel and other activities, and enjoys creating scrapbooks to preserve her fond memories.
Dr. Lorraine Neri
was born in Seoul, South Korea. Her family moved to the Buenos Aries,
Argentina where she was raised until the age of five. Dr. Neri received a
BS in Physiology at the University of California Davis, and a DDS degree
from the University of Southern California. Dr. Neri practiced as a
general dentist for three years in the San Fernando Valley and then
decided to pursue specialized training in pediatric dentistry at the
University of Southern California/Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr.
Neri is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental
Association, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Yazdan Alami, D.D.S. Dr. Alami was born
in Tehran, Iran and grew up in Geneva, Switzerland. He attended the
University of California at Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelors
of Science in Biological Sciences. Then he attended dental school at
Indiana University. He completed a three-year pediatric program at the
university of California San Francisco. He belongs to the American Board
of Pediatric Dentistry, Cayman Islands Medical Dental Society, California
Society of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, American
Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the San Fernando Dental Society, the San
Francisco Dental Society, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Ellen Stone comes to us from Florida,
where she completed her dental education at the University of Florida
College of Dentistry in 1999. She then moved to California to join a one
year residency in general dentistry at the Veteran's Administration in
West Los Angeles. After practicing general dentistry for a few years in Los
Angeles, she attended New York University College of Dentistry to pursue a
residency in pediatric dentistry. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Stone has
provided care for several communities in Los Angeles & Ventura counties.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a
board member of the California Society of Dentistry for Children. Carla Abboud, D.D.S. Dr. Carla Abboud moved to the US from Paris, France in 1985 and grew up in Woodland Hills, California. She matriculated from Buckley High School to a six-year accelerated dental program at the University of Southern California. After completing two years of undergraduate studies at USC, Dr. Abboud obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Science. She graduated from USC dental school in 2004 among the top ten students and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Dental Society. She then received training in pediatric dentistry at USC and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Abboud is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Fernando Valley Dental Association. Dr. Abboud enjoys literature, cinema, plays, music concerts and travel. Most recent travels include the island of Guadeloupe in the French West Indies, New York and Seattle. She also enjoys participating in charity walkathons including The Memory Walk for Alzheimer's disease. She loves outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, biking and jet skiing. Dr. Abboud is fluent in both Arabic and French. |
