Dr. Lisa Brennan grew up in Moss Beach, just south of San Francisco and attended San Francisco State College. After graduation, Lisa went to the University of California, San Francisco Dental School, graduated in 1975 and served her pediatric dental residency at UCLA, finishing in 1977. Dr. Brennan practiced pediatric dentistry in Thousand Oaks until 1983, when she opened Oak Park Dentistry for Children in Oak Pak. Dr. Brennan is a member of the California Dental Association, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Santa Barbara-Ventura Dental Society. She presently serves on the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation. Dr. Brennan is on staff at Los Robles Medical Center Hospital and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr.
Brennan is the past president of Conejo Valley Garden Club and serves as a
docent at the Kids Adventure Garden in the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden. Dr. Karen Sue was raised in the South Bay area and graduated from the University of Southern California School Of Dentistry in 1986. Karen completed her pediatric dental residency at USC Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in 1988. Immediately following her residency, Dr. Sue served on staff at Children’s Hospital of Los Angles’ Dental Clinic as part of its dental faculty and joined Oak Park Dentistry for Children.
Dr. Sue is an active
member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of
Dentistry for Children, and California Society of Pediatric Dentists. Dr.
Sue has served as a Board member and President of American Society for
Dentistry for Children, Southern California Chapter. She has volunteered
and served as a Board member for the Los Angeles Epilepsy Society. Dr. Jennifer Barry grew up in Thousand Oaks and has spent most of her life in the Conejo Valley. She graduated from La Reina High School and attended Santa Clara University, where she majored in Biology. Dr. Barry received her D.D.S. from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and also completed her residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at Loma Linda. She now serves as an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Dentistry at Loma Linda University. Dr. Barry is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Barry has exceptional dental knowledge and skill, but patients mostly know her for her gentle touch.
When Dr. Barry is not practicing dentistry, she spends
time with her husband, Ari, and her family and friends from the Thousand
Oaks and Loma Linda areas. She enjoys the beach and visiting her family's cabin in Big Bear.
Dr. Barry has been skiing since age 11 and took
up snowboarding last year. She also enjoys traveling and recently
returned from Guatemala where she attended her best friend's wedding. Dr.
Barry takes photographs of her travel and other activities, and enjoys
creating scrapbooks to preserve her fond memories.
Dr. Lorraine Neri was born in Seoul, South Korea. Her family moved to Buenos Aries, Argentina where she was raised until the age of fifteen. She then lived in Kirkland, Washington before moving to Southern California. Dr. Neri received a bachelor’s of science degree in Physiology at the University of California Davis, and a DDS degree from the University of Southern California. Dr. Neri practiced as a general dentist for three years in the San Fernando Valley and then pursued specialized training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Southern California/Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Dr. Neri
is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental
Association, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Alami lives in Westlake Village and with his wife and is very active in the community. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. Yazdan attended dental school at Indiana University and subsequently completed a three-year pediatric program at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Alami belongs to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Cayman Islands Medical Dental Society, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Santa Barbara/Ventura County Dental Society, the San Francisco Dental Society, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Most recently, Dr. Alami was recognized as a Fellow by the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and appointed to the faculty of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry Residency/Post-Doctorate Program in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Alami has received
many merit awards including a research grant from the National Institute
of Health. He is committed to serving in the community and is a volunteer at
the Georgetown Dental Clinic in the Grand Cayman Islands.
Dr. Carla Abboud moved to the U.S. from Paris
in 1985 and grew up in Woodland Hills, California. She matriculated from
Buckley High School to a six-year accelerated dental program at the
University of Southern California. After completing two years of
undergraduate studies at USC, Dr. Abboud obtained her bachelor's degree in
Dental Science. She graduated from USC dental school in 2004 among the top
ten students and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor
Dental Society. Dr. Abboud then received training in pediatric dentistry
at USC and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Abboud is a member of the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric
Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and
San Fernando Valley Dental Association. Dr. Abboud is fluent in both
Arabic and French.
Dr. Gelman was born in Ukraine and moved to Los Angeles, CA when she was 10 years old. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Michigan. She then moved to UCLA where she received her dental degree and completed her pediatric dental residency. Dr. Gelman has provided her services for the Give Kids a Smile foundation and the UCLA Venice Clinic.
Tiffany Hsu, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Hsu grew up on the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. She earned her D.D.S. from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. Dr. Hsu completed a three-year combined Master’s-Pediatric dental residency at UCSF and obtained her M.S. in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences.
Dr. Hsu is a member of
the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of
Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental
Association, and San Fernando Valley Dental Society. She has volunteered
with various community dental clinics and most recently, returned from a
dental mission with Alliance for Smiles in China.
